We’re seeking a UX Service Designer to support our client who is an American multinational banking institution.
- This role is onsite in Wilmington, DE
- 40 hours per week
- 3 + months with the opportunity to extend/convert to staff.
- Hourly Pay Rate: $80hr.
- $84hr.
In this high-profile role, you will join the UX Design Team to apply your knowledge of User Experience, Service Design, Workflow Orchestration, and Artificial Intelligence to create AI enabled solutions as the client is looking to build out their AI Squad.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with AI focused Engineers and Business Stakeholders to develop Journey Maps and Service Blueprints to visualize business workflows and integrated AI solutions.
- Day to day includes 60% Research & Service Design, 20% UX/Experience Design, 20% collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Stakeholders for projects that include serving Internal Employees, Government Relations, External Stakeholder Initiatives, e.g. Philanthropic/Public Engagements.
- Work with cross-functional Teams including UX Designers, Product Managers, and Tech Engineers to develop innovative, user-friendly products.
- Provide solutions for critical areas within the user-flow. identify user needs and partner with Engineering to build low-code workflows and AI-enabled experiences.
- Lead Workshops to gather customer insights and identify improvements.
- Help define the User Model(s) and User Interface(s) for new and existing products.
- Develop High Level Storyboards, Mockups and Prototypes.
- Experience in Financial Services, Healthcare, or similar Regulated Industries.

Required:
Service Design Blueprints derived from Research, Journey Maps, User Research Samples, AI Enablement Case Studies. - Examples showing transformation of Workflows, not just Screens.
- AI-enabled or automation-focused case studies strongly preferred.
- Exposure to AI-Enabled Workflows or AI-Assisted Design.
- Experience in Web, Digital, Service or Experience Design, focusing on Comprehensive User Interactions.
- At least 2 years of designing AI-enabled workflows and experiences.
- Proven track record with Journey Mapping, Service Blueprinting, and Storyboarding.
- Ability to “vibe code” or Prototype alongside engineering (not required, but valuable)
