Position OverviewThe Operations Supervisor supports the Managing Director and Hotel Manager in overseeing daily hotel operations across all departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Valet, and Food & Beverage
. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for maintaining the seamless guest experience and elevated service standards that define The Quoin Hotel + Restaurant. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-driven, and comfortable working across departments in a fast-paced boutique hotel environment. This position will also work scheduled Front Desk shifts and serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required.
- Supervise and support daily operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Valet
, while providing operational support to the Food & Beverage team as needed. - Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required, overseeing all aspects of hotel operations and guest service.
- Ensure all areas of the hotel are clean, well maintained, and operating efficiently.
- Monitor overall service standards and ensure alignment with The Quoin's guest experience philosophy.
- Support the Front Desk team during high-volume periods, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
- Monitor guest feedback and coordinate service recovery efforts when necessary.
- Ensure guest requests and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally.
- Conduct guest room inspections to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation meet brand standards.
- Work closely with housekeeping leadership to inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
. - Support staff training around cleanliness, safety, and quality standards.
- Ensure timely communication of maintenance needs across the property.
- Track and follow up on engineering work orders to ensure prompt completion.
- Assist with inventory management, daily valet reports, and administrative duties
. - Support departmental organization, scheduling coordination, and operational reporting.
- Provide operational support to the restaurant, bar, and private event teams as needed.
Ensure service quality and consistency across hotel and dining experiences.
Qualifications- 2+ years of hospitality or hotel operations experience preferred
- Ability to work across multiple departments in a collaborative environment
- Strong guest service mindset with excellent communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working Front Desk shifts and evenings/weekends when required
- Work within a design-driven boutique hotel environment
