Description

Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an experienced Regional Medical Staff Coordinator to join our team!

Schedule

Full-time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday / No weekends or holidays!

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and processes initial and reappointment applications.
  • Compiles quality data/logs for initials and reappointments.
  • Prepares correspondence to providers and physician leaders.
  • Performs various online inquiries.
  • Continuous follow‑up and contact with applicants and their staff.
  • Organizes the credentials file for review.
  • Understands and adheres to JCAHO standards, CMS and DOH requirements.
  • Compliance and understanding of FPPE and OPPE process.
  • Prepares recommendation letters for Department Chairs & Section Directors.
  • Prepares Credentials Committee agenda, Credentials Report and all follow‑up correspondence.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in related healthcare specialty highly preferred.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in medical staff credentialing preferably in the hospital setting.
  • Familiar with Joint Commission and CMS.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
