DescriptionSaint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an experienced Regional Medical Staff Coordinator to join our team!
ScheduleFull-time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday / No weekends or holidays!
Responsibilities- Coordinates and processes initial and reappointment applications.
- Compiles quality data/logs for initials and reappointments.
- Prepares correspondence to providers and physician leaders.
- Performs various online inquiries.
- Continuous follow‑up and contact with applicants and their staff.
- Organizes the credentials file for review.
- Understands and adheres to JCAHO standards, CMS and DOH requirements.
- Compliance and understanding of FPPE and OPPE process.
- Prepares recommendation letters for Department Chairs & Section Directors.
- Prepares Credentials Committee agenda, Credentials Report and all follow‑up correspondence.
- Associates Degree in related healthcare specialty highly preferred.
- At least 5 years’ experience in medical staff credentialing preferably in the hospital setting.
- Familiar with Joint Commission and CMS.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
