Position: Grant Program Coordinator (part-time, temporary)

The Grant Program Coordinator for the PA Newborn Kit Grant is a temporary position estimated to work twelve hours per week for approximately one year. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration, coordination, and reporting of activities related to the grant. This role ensures timely and accurate distribution of newborn kits, maintains compliance with grant requirements, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to support maternal and infant health outcomes across Pennsylvania.

The coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for the grant and will support data collection, reporting, and community engagement efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics for the distribution of newborn kits to eligible families and partner sites.
  • Track inventory, shipments, and delivery confirmations to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with grant requirements.
  • Collaborate with Care Coordination, Community Health Workers, and external partners to identify eligible recipients.
  • Prepare and submit required reports to funders and internal leadership.
  • Respond to inquiries from families, providers, and community partners regarding the newborn kit program.
  • Support outreach and education efforts to promote awareness of the grant.
  • Assist in planning and executing events related to newborn and maternal health.
  • Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by the employee’s supervisor.
  • Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma is required;
      Bachelor Degree is preferred
    • Minimum one year experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or community-based setting performing administrative duties; in lieu of one year of experience, college student that has passed one course related to excel and/or project management can be applied.
    • Experience with program coordination or grant-funded initiatives is a plus
