Medical Assistant I, Primary Care at Linden Hill
Primary Care at Linden Hill is looking for a Medical Assistant I. The practice is located at 100 South Riding Boulevard, 2nd Floor, Wilmington, Delaware, and offers comprehensive medical services for adults and children, including gynecology, women’s health, vaccinations, physical examinations, preventive medicine, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
Base pay range$19.10/hr - $27.69/hr
Office Hours- Monday & Wednesday: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm (one late night per week, 10:00 am – 7:00 pm)
- Tuesday & Thursday: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Friday: 7:00 am – 4:30 pm
As a Medical Assistant I, you will assist physicians during the examination and treatment of patients, both virtually and on‑site. Key responsibilities include greeting and assisting patients, rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs, performing point‑of‑care testing, administering injections and medications, conducting EKGs, preparing treatment rooms with supplies, completing patient‑specific paperwork, keeping electronic medical records current, handling patient callbacks, following sterilization guidelines, managing prior authorizations, referrals, and medication refills, scheduling tests and surgeries, performing quality control on test equipment, documenting during provider examinations, undertaking clerical tasks as assigned, troubleshooting video visit issues, helping patients use Christiana Care’s Patient Portal, and maintaining safety protocols.

- High School Graduate or GED required.
- Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or holder of current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
