About the Role

A global organization in the advanced manufacturing and technology sector is seeking an experienced tax professional with a focus on U.S. Federal and international tax. The company operates across multiple regions and supports complex legal entity structures, cross‑border transactions, and cutting‑edge products and solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working with evolving global tax rules, and contributing to strategic decision‑making in a fast‑moving business environment.

Primary

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare complex U.S. Federal C‑corporation, partnership, and international tax work papers and returns (e.g., Forms 1120, 1065, 5471, 8858, 8865
    ), including extensions and estimated tax payments.
  • Prepare and review U.S. international tax filings, including Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 8990, 8991, 8992, 8993
    , and foreign tax credit calculations.
  • Assist with quarterly and annual income tax provision under ASC 740
    , including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and foreign tax credit computations.
  • Monitor and interpret U.S. Federal and international tax developments and assess impacts to the business.
  • Support tax planning initiatives and participate in business decision‑making from a tax perspective.
  • Prepare and review taxable income and tax basis calculations for domestic and foreign entities.
  • Assist with tax authority inquiries, information requests, and notices.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including automation or workflow enhancements.
  • Provide tax support on acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, restructurings, and other transactions.
  • Conduct tax research and draft technical memoranda or presentations related to tax policy and planning opportunities.
Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 4+ years of relevant tax experience within public accounting and/or a multinational corporate tax department.
  • Hands‑on experience with U.S. Federal tax compliance, including complex reporting requirements and consolidated return structures.
  • Experience conducting tax research and presenting findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • U.S. International tax experience preferred; state tax exposure a plus.
  • Familiarity with ERP and tax systems (e.g., SAP, BPC, One Source Income Tax) is an advantage.
  • Experience with automation and analytic tools (e.g., Alteryx, Excel, Power BI) is a plus.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and interest in enhancing tax processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA license.
  • Master’s in Taxation.
