Job Title: Bank Card Services Dispute Specialist

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Bank Card Services Dispute Specialist to join our client and support the accurate handling of debit and credit card disputes. In this role, you will ensure compliance with industry regulations, minimize fraud-related losses, and deliver exceptional service to customers. The position involves managing dispute workflows, reconciling accounts, and acting as a resource for internal teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Compensation:
$24 - $26 per hour

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hybrid: 4 days onsite in Wilmington, DE; remote on Fridays

Key Responsibilities of the Bank Card Services Dispute Specialist:
  • Process and resolve cardholder disputes in compliance with regulatory and network guidelines, ensuring timely and accurate handling of claims.
  • Investigate disputed transactions to identify fraud risks and recommend appropriate actions to reduce financial losses.
  • Perform daily reconciliations and settlement processing for debit, credit, and prepaid card programs.
  • Maintain and update cardholder records, including new card setups and account status changes.
  • Serve as a resource for internal teams by providing guidance on card-related inquiries and supporting special projects.
Qualifications and Skills for the Bank Card Services Dispute Specialist:
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required;
    Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in transaction services or high-volume financial operations.
  • Familiarity with Visa Operating Rules, Federal regulations, and retail banking products.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
