Customer Service Rep, Server/Wait Staff
Description
Team members are classified based on individual theatre needs and employee availability as either variable hour, part‑time fixed, part‑time regular, or full‑time hourly employees. Their primary responsibility is ensuring guests receive exceptional service. Team members may be scheduled to work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. They must act as a representative of Regal in a manner consistent with our mission, policies, and the following core expectations: regular and consistent attendance, handling emergency situations when called upon, general cleaning duties, and compliance with our company dress code.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Box Office- Operate the POS system, including accurate handling of cash drawers, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and redeemed discount tickets, passes, and coupons.
- Upsell/suggestive sell Premium Viewing Experience options (3D, RPX, IMAX).
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
- Respond to phone calls and guest questions in a manner consistent with our guest service philosophy.
- Operate the POS system and manage accuracy of cash, card, and coupon transactions and concession stock inventory.
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Operate, prepare, and clean all concession-related equipment.
- Upsell and suggestive sell to guests.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal food safety laws.
- Adhere to all laws regarding breaks and meal periods.
- Maintain current alcohol certification where applicable.
- Serve alcohol only if legally authorized according to state or local laws.
- Read and understand training materials covering sexual harassment and discrimination.
- Tear tickets, collect and deposit stubs, and direct patrons to their auditoriums.
- Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
- Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats when necessary.
- Enforce the MPAA rating system.
- Conduct in‑theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, watch for film and content theft, and maintain a safe environment.
- Report any problems, discrepancies, or unusual situations to management.
- Perform in‑auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed by management.
- Clean auditoriums after each show and maintain clean restrooms, lobby area, hallways, and other areas outside the auditorium.
- Monitor the cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned by management.

Education/ExperienceCompletion of the cast certification program as a cast member and as a box office cashier, or progress toward completion, is required.
When selling or serving alcohol, the employee must complete any legally required state or local training and obtain the required certificate, in addition to completing the Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University.

Physical DemandsEmployees are frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. May occasionally lift up to 60 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
