Verdantas is seeking a talented Field Technician to join our team in the Wilmington, DE office. This hands-on role focuses on supporting field operations, ensuring quality and compliance across a variety of infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do:
- Perform quality control review and testing for construction projects
- Review activities and provide oversight on a variety of construction projects within the fields of geotechnical engineering and construction
- Field observation, testing, and sampling of soils, concrete masonry, and steel construction
- Review, understand, and interpret project plans and specifications, shop drawings, product data, and RFIs
- Completion of field documentation in a timely manner, such as job safety analysis (JSA) forms, project field reports, field notes, soil, concrete, and asphalt datasheets, monitoring, and chain-of-custody forms
- Recordkeeping and maintenance of testing equipment
- Additional tasks may include laboratory testing of soils and concrete
- Operate and maintain company vehicles
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years of experience with collecting soil, concrete, groundwater, or other construction material samples
- 1 or more years working in construction
- Capable of working primarily in an outdoor work environment and occasional office environment
- Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 80 lbs. occasionally with or without an accommodation, sometimes over substantial distances
- Must have a valid driver's license
The starting salary for this position is $20.00 an hour, with final compensation determined based on qualifications and licensing status
