Position SummaryThe Industrial Systems Engineer (Architect) is the lead visionary for the integration of physical production and digital enterprise logic. This role is responsible for blueprinting, designing, and evaluating integrated systems for industrial production. This role applies advanced Industrial Engineering principles to optimize manufacturing workflows, improve human-machine interfaces, and engineer data-driven solutions within the Odoo ERP framework. The engineer will bridge the gap between physical production operations and digital enterprise systems to ensure maximum efficiency, quality control, and cost-effectiveness.
ResponsibilitiesAdvanced CAD & Engineering Design
- Utilize Solid Works or AutoCAD to create precision 3D models and perform FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to validate design performance before prototyping.
- Develop detailed engineering specifications and layouts, ensuring all design components meet rigorous structural, mechanical, and safety standards.
- Architect and configure Odoo ERP (MRP, Inventory, Procurement) to synchronize physical manufacturing sequences with digital workflows.
- Implement and manage the integration of ERP systems with logistics providers, payment gateways, and WMS
- Analyze manufacturing workflows using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on production bottlenecks and lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Design automated quality control workflows within the ERP to monitor reliability and minimize defect rates.
- Develop advanced forecasting and inventory optimization models using SQL and Python.
- Ensure system reliability and data integrity through Postgre
SQL database optimization and performance tuning - Build complex engineering dashboards using Python & SQL to monitor real-time performance metrics, capacity utilization, and resource allocation.
- Master’s degree in Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or closely related engineering discipline.
- Experience in ERP customization and backend development.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Postgre
SQL for engineering applications. - Demonstrated mastery of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Operations Research.
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, specifically working with MRP/ERP systems.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience implementing MRP systems in production environments.
- Experience integrating ERP with warehouse management systems
