Position Description
Part-time teacher to work with students in person, one-on-one at Augustine Hills School, for core subjects in middle school and high school.

Wilmington, DE 19803 — Just off I-95 and Route 202, a convenient and quiet location. - Type:
Part-time, in-person - Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM. Schedule is flexible.

- Provide personalized, one-on-one instruction in middle school and high school literature and math.
- Develop tailored lesson plans based on student needs and learning styles.
- Create engaging lessons that connect math concepts to real-life contexts.
- Assess students’ progress and grades, with accurate documentation of lesson plans, progress, and grades.
- Collaborate with other educators and administrators as needed.
- Adjust instruction techniques to accommodate students with learning differences.
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching middle school and high school students in core subjects, including literature and math up to Algebra 1 (not including student teaching).
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Within 30-minute commute of ZIP code 19803.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt lesson plans and teaching approaches based on student engagement, need, and skill level.
- Previous experience developing a curriculum, assessing students, and grading their work.
