Primary FunctionsTo enable students through meaningful supervision, to enjoy the group and social interactions that are an integral part of a comprehensive educational program. Supports student climate, culture, and discipline through a responsible, balanced approach.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Supports administrative initiatives relating to student climate, culture, and discipline.
- Has a specialized schedule from 7-2:30 in order to run daily one‑hour detentions after school. When detention is not needed, utilizes this time to complete paperwork, e‑school reports, data service center reports, and parent phone calls.
- Supports the school’s student advisor by completing parent phone calls and assigning detentions.
- Participates in necessary trainings for restorative justice, restorative practices, and other initiatives.
- Supervises students during all lunches or at other times as needed.
- Ensures compliance with school rules and protocols in the hallways, maintaining safety of students of staff.
- Organizes movement of students during transitions.
- Contributes to the climate and culture of the environment while supervising students.
- Communicates professionally with all members of the school community as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
- Favorable Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Registry Check for the candidate who is offered employment.
- Tuberculin Test.
- Mandatory Direct Deposit of paycheck.
