Description:
A resident, or physician in training, is defined as a graduate medical student who works under an institutional license. Residency is an educational experience designed to offer residents the opportunity to participate in the clinical evaluation and care of patients in a variety of patient care settings. The tenure of their training is 36 months. After educational training, the resident is considered board eligible to become a Board-Certified Family Physician.
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate from Medical School
- Completed all parts of the USMLE licensure exam or Part 1 of the COMLEX Exam
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Communication skills
- ACGME training license or pending within 30 days
