Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Designer to join our growing team. This role focuses on producing high-quality landscape plans for national homebuilders, site contractors, and custom builders, requiring both technical expertise and creative design skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, edit, and finalize landscape plans for national builders and site contractors.
  • Create lot-specific landscape plans based on builder standards and modify existing plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with the estimation team to understand and apply standard package requirements.
  • Integrate site plans into AutoCAD and incorporate required design elements.
  • Ensure all landscape designs meet builder specifications, regulatory requirements, and applicable codes.
  • Produce advanced, custom landscape designs for higher-end or specialized projects.
  • Stay current with county-approved plans, zoning codes, and regulatory updates to ensure compliance.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of plant materials and landscape construction standards.
  • Experience working with county regulations and permitting requirements.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce compliant, build-ready plans.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
