Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum for children in a Montessori setting
  • Provide individual and group tutoring sessions to support children's learning in various subjects, including math
  • Incorporate physical education activities into daily routines to promote gross motor skills development
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care
  • Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
Requirements
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred
  • Montessori certification (complete or in-progress)
  • Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting
  • Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to create a positive and nurturing learning environment for children
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Understanding of child welfare policies and procedures
