- Payroll Leadership (Primary Focus)
- End‑to‑End Payroll Management:
Execute the full weekly payroll cycle for roughly 30 employees using Construction Manager software. You will be the sole owner of this process, ensuring 100% accuracy and punctuality. - Compliance & Tax Oversight:
Manage all payroll tax filings and the precise calculation of union dues, maintaining full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. - Project‑Based Expertise:
Apply your knowledge of labor allocations and project‑based payroll nuances to support accurate job costing.
- End‑to‑End Payroll Management:
- Accounts Payable & Financial Support
- Full‑Cycle A/P Management:
Take charge of the accounts payable inbox, processing 30–50 invoices weekly, including coding, verifying approvals, and managing vendor relationships to ensure timely disbursements. - A/R & Cash Flow Support:
Assist with accounts receivable functions to maintain healthy liquid capital. - Professional Collections:
Conduct month‑end outreach to clients regarding outstanding balances, valuing a "friendly but firm" approach that secures payment while protecting our long‑standing industry reputation.
- Full‑Cycle A/P Management:
- At least 1–3 years experience in a Senior Accountant or Bookkeeping role where payroll processing was a core daily function.
- Proven experience within construction, manufacturing, or project‑centered environments is highly preferred.
