The Gonzaga Lunches Facilitator/Lead is responsible for overseeing all Gonzaga lunch programs throughout the academic year. This individual will serve as the primary lead during each lunch, managing both the lunch crew and student leaders, while also supporting the onboarding and training of the new Arrupe Coordinator. The coordinator will report to the Director of Ignatian Service Learning and Engagement.
HOURS- Being present in the ISLE meeting room a total of four lunch periods 2 days per week.
- Total lunches: 43 per year (21 Fall semester, 22 Spring semester)
- Hours per lunch day:
Approximately 3 hours (10:45 AM – 1:45 PM) - Total annual hours:
Approximately 126 hours
This position is compensated hourly, with a structured as follows:
- Rate: $35.00 per hour
- Basis: 3 hours per lunch day x 42 lunch days
- Total annual stipend: $4,410.00
- Serve as the lead facilitator for all 43 Gonzaga lunches throughout the academic year (21 in the Fall semester, 22 in the Spring semester).
- Direct and oversee the lunch crew and student leaders during each lunch service.
- Arrive 20 minutes prior to the first lunch to ensure all systems and materials are in place (or in the morning in collaboration with ISLE Team).
- Set up kiosk mode for student check-in, cue the appropriate video, and prepare reflection sheets before each session.
- Work with the Arrupe coordinator and ISLE team.
- Through collaborating with the ISLE team, manage post-lunch cleanup of rooms, food, and silverware.
- Assist the new Arrupe Coordinator in learning the setup and ordering processes for Gonzaga lunch materials.
- Provide guidance and training to ensure continuity and consistency in lunch operations.
- Serve as a resource and point of contact for operational questions related to the Gonzaga lunch program.
- Prior experience with the Gonzaga lunch program or similar student service initiatives strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate teams, including student volunteers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent schedule throughout the academic year.
- Ability to work collaboratively with program coordinators and school staff.
