Responsibilities
  • Consults with department heads, staff managers, and administrators to establish coordinated efforts to minimize workplace conflict; and develops resources and tools to aid Loyola Academy in fostering a culture of respect, collaboration and problem resolution.
  • The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that logically relate to the position.
  • Have previous successful club, high school or college coaching experience. Organized, hard-working and demonstrate a strong desire to develop young players. Coach will be focused on player development, implementing practice plans and other necessary functions of the program. Practices are at Mon-Sat. Matches are played on weekdays and on the weekends.
  • Candidates will be focused on player development, implementing practice plans and other necessary functions of the program.
  • Ability to handle information of sensitive and confidential nature in the utmost professional manner. Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, initiative, resourcefulness, and personal accountability.
  • Effective analytical and decision-making skills. Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, and time management skills. Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse constituents.
  • Attention to detail and adaptability to a changing environment is extremely important as well as dependability.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage others in difficult conversations and manage conflict.
  • Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of information, protect the assets of the institution, act ethically and with integrity, adhere to the administrative and operational policies of Loyola Academy and perform the duties of your position consistent with those policies and the institution's expectations.
  • Commitment to the principles of Jesuit education as outlined in Loyola Academy's mission statement.
  • Moderate physical activity. Requires handling equipment of average weight up to fifty (50) pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
