Position Summary:

As a Back of House Team Member at Chick-fil-A, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen operates efficiently and maintains the high standards of food quality and safety that our customers expect. You will work collaboratively with your team to prepare and cook menu items, maintain cleanliness, and uphold food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation:

* Prepare and cook food items according to Chick-fil-A recipes and standards.

* Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet customer demand.

Safety and Cleanliness:

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and work spaces.

* Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.

Team

Collaboration:

* Work closely with both back & front-of-house to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

* Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any issues or concerns.

Equipment Maintenance:

* Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, grills, and ovens.

Training and Development:

* Participate in training sessions to stay updated on food preparation techniques and safety standards.

* Assist in training new team members as needed.

Customer Focus:

* Support the front-of-house team in delivering exceptional customer service by ensuring food orders are prepared accurately and quickly.

Problem-Solving:

* Address and resolve any issues that arise in the kitchen, escalating to management as necessary.

Qualifications:

* Must be at least 16 years old (required by local law).

* Previous kitchen or food service experience is a plus but not required.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Can hustle and work well in a fast pace environment

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Commitment to upholding Chick-fil-A's standards of quality and service.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to stand for extended periods.

* Capable of lifting up to 40-60lbs as needed.

* Ability to perform tasks in a hot and noisy kitchen environment.

* Ability to maintain hustle ensure guests are getting quick and efficient service every time.
