The merchandising & stocking associate role involves working on your feet to keep areas neat and organized. You connect the dots to help members find everything on their shopping list, from everyday needs to special occasions. Depending on the shift, you may move inventory in the backroom, unload trucks, fulfill club pick-up orders, or assist members while stocking shelves. The job can be physically demanding, including tasks like unloading trucks and stocking freezers.

You will be part of a team with a common goal: helping members find what they love, for less.

• Promptly unloading trucks
• Assisting fellow associates as needed throughout the store
• Sorting and stocking products on shelves and in the backroom
• Engaging with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and member-ready area
• Stocking merchandise and ensuring proper zoning and pricing according to company policies
• Handling fragile and high-shrink merchandise securely
• Climbing and lifting as required (including lifting boxes and objects heavier than 25 pounds)

• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services
• Maintain facility safety through safety sweeps, forklift procedures, hazardous materials handling, and reporting unsafe conditions
• Preserve sales floor and merchandise presentation by zoning areas, stocking and organizing, setting up displays, removing damaged goods, pricing, and identifying shrink
• Monitor product quality via rotation, dating, recalls, and sanitation; ensure prominent display of promotional merchandise
• Comply with policies and standards of ethics; apply Open Door Policy in business processes
• Complete work assignments by using policies and data; collaborate with managers and coworkers; manage priorities, deadlines, and communication
• Ensure club pick-up orders are filled and staged according to policy
