Recreational Therapist (PRN)

Join Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine for a PRN recreational therapist role at our 159‑bed facility in beautiful Willoughby, Ohio—short drive from downtown Cleveland.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and lead art, music, or recreational therapy activities on all units.
  • Work with patients whose ability to manage daily living is compromised by behavioral health problems.
  • Conduct patient assessments, formulate treatment plans, implement activities, and document all services provided.

About Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine

Recognized as a Top Performer by The Joint Commission, our center offers 24‑hour care for children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric, behavioral health, and substance abuse issues. The multidisciplinary treatment team includes board‑certified psychiatrists, psychologists, registered nurses, licensed social workers, case managers, and milieu and activity therapists. We also feature a Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs.

Qualifications
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or master’s degree in Art Therapy.
  • Must hold a CTRS credential through NCTRC.
  • Previous healthcare experience preferred.
