We are currently seeking an Asphalt Paving Estimator for the Cleveland area who will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for Asphalt Paving for Commercial Parking Lot projects. The Estimator will also be meeting with Customers, doing Ground Assessments, Sales etc. Must have experience with Bid2

Win Software.

Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications typically associated with this role:

Responsibilities:

• Analyze Plans and Specifications:
  Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements.
• Prepare Cost Estimates:
  Calculate costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.
• Bid Preparation:
  Develop bid proposals and pre-bid documentation.
• Material and Labor Quotes:
  Obtain quotes for materials and subcontractor participation.
• Project Coordination:
  Work with project management teams to follow up on bids and budgets.
• Cost Analysis:
  Compare estimated costs to actual costs and collaborate with project management on findings.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  Proven experience in construction estimating, particularly in asphalt paving projects ( Commercial Parking Lots ).
• Education:
  High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may prefer or require additional education or certifications.
• Skills:
  Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in using estimating software. ( Bid2
  
  Win )
• Communication:
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
