Willmar Poultry Farms is seeking a full‑time Farm Manager
. An affiliate of Life‑Science Innovations, Willmar Poultry Farms is a commercial grow‑out company that raises turkeys for various customers. Farms are located in the Willmar, MN and Redwood Falls, MN areas.

Summary of Core Responsibilities

This position oversees day‑to‑day operations of the turkey farm and is responsible for turkey flock health, barn maintenance, ventilation, mechanical systems, and processing flow and timing.

Flock Care
  • Manages day‑to‑day operations to keep the turkey flock healthy until maturity.
  • Ensures feed and water systems are working properly.
  • Records data on vaccinations, medications, mortality, water treatment, rodent activity, and traffic flow.
  • Manages and orders feed for barns.
  • Checks the barn multiple times per day for dead birds, properly disposes them, and euthanizes birds beyond recovery as needed.
  • Responds to all alarm calls for barns, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Farm and Barn Maintenance
  • Performs maintenance of barn equipment, mechanical systems, and machine equipment.
  • Manages ventilation in the barns to support a safe environment for turkeys.
Regulation
  • Enforces company policies and procedures related to biosecurity, animal welfare, safety, and all regulatory requirements.
Ideal Candidate Summary
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid Minnesota Driver’s License.
  • Willing to work in animal production conditions and handle live birds; a minimum of 6 months experience in animal husbandry and welfare preferred.
  • Capable of bending, pushing, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
  • Adheres to bio‑security and animal welfare policies.
  • Self‑starter.
  • Leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to make sound business decisions and work independently.
  • Comfortable using technology.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Must have personal transportation to get to barn locations.
Compensation and Benefits Eligible

We offer a generous benefit package in addition to competitive compensation. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance options, a Health Savings Account with company match, a 401(k) plan with company match up to 4% of compensation, PTO accrual, two personal days per year, holiday pay, and company‑paid life insurance.

Starting wage: $21.07–$26.34.
