Occupational Therapy professionals are needed to support K-12 students in a dynamic school environment located in Willmar, MN. These contract roles offer an opportunity to apply therapeutic expertise in educational settings, providing essential support to students across multiple grade levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to individual student needs in compliance with school policies and educational standards.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans to optimize student outcomes.
  • For COTA positions:
    Provide support across multiple school buildings, serving both elementary and secondary students.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in team meetings to ensure coordinated care.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with relevant school-based experience.
  • Familiarity with K-12 educational environments and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage caseloads and work independently within structured school schedules.
Location & Hours
  • OT position location is to be determined within the Willmar, MN area.
  • Both OT and COTA roles are full-time, averaging 37.5 hours per week.
  • Typical working hours are either 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM.
  • The COTA role covers multi-building responsibilities across elementary and secondary schools.
