Job Description
Performs day-to-day warehouse/inventory operations, including filling orders, data entry, assisting with shipping and receiving and maintaining the inventory, warehouse, and equipment/assets.
Summary of Position:
As a Warehouse Attendant, you will be integral to the efficient operation of our Williston, Vermont warehouse, reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager. Your primary responsibilities will include materials handling, shipping and receiving, and operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers. With a strong emphasis on safety, you will ensure compliance and efficiency. Your organizational and communication skills, combined with prior warehouse experience, will contribute to maintaining a well-organized and productive work environment.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate with Field personnel to receive and fill orders needed for projects.
- Perform receiving functions including unloading trucks, signing for shipments, performing incoming inspection of product, and storing or processing product according to requirements.
- Perform shipping functions including picking, packing, and shipping project and inventory orders.
- Safely load and unload freight trucks when required.
- Maintain the warehouse and related equipment in an orderly and safe manner.
- Perform physical inventory counts from time to time as required by management.
- Perform miscellaneous administrative support, entering purchase orders as directed & communicating with vendors and managers.
- Assists with reviewing stock room quantities and submit order for materials as needed/seasonally.
- Receive all materials delivered to warehouse and verify received quantities against packing list.
- Unpack, properly tag and shelve all materials daily.
- Keep warehouse, stockroom, storage and work areas clean and always organized.
- Break down cardboard & properly dispose of excess packing materials (peanuts, cardboard, bubble wrap & pallets) promptly.
- Keep loading dock free of packing material and delivered material as it arrives.
- Pick up supply orders/product at local supply houses as needed.
- Deliver materials to job sites as needed.
- Drop off or assist in dropping off vehicles scheduled for repairs & maintenance.
- Process material requests from field installers as required and assist with placing orders as necessary for installation materials.
- Ensure the removal of snow and ice on sidewalks and entrances.
- Clear snow from shop/spare vehicles and rearrange them to allow complete parking lot snow removal.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work full-time or part-time; full-time 7am-3:30pm or part-time 7am-12pm

- Warehouse experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good computer skills.
- Must be able to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills are needed with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record required.
- Candidates with forklift experience desired, candidates with ability to obtain forklift certification will be considered.
