Location:
This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, within the Office of Contracting and are assigned based on the need of the agency. - Advises on program staffing; recommends changes in methods, procedures, and techniques to improve baseline measures.
- Conducts studies of employee, organizational efficiency, productivity and recommends changes in improvements in organization and staffing.
- Provides expert advice to management on recruitment and placement, benefits retirement, classification, and payroll for personnel regarding a full range of personnel and payroll issues.
- Prepares project papers and staff reports and organizes/delivers briefings to managers to promote understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
- Reviews newly issued regulations or directives to ascertain their impact on program areas.
- Participate in planning and development of business strategies and recommends internal procedure changes.
