Office of Contracting, USCIS, Department of Homeland Security – assignment based on agency need. - Responsible for management of procurement‑related systems and serve as focal point for issues affecting programs such as Procurement Request Information System Management (PRISM).
- Develops and administers databases used to contain contracting data sets for mission‑critical reporting requirements.
- Responsible for reporting and analysis of statistical data relating to the organization’s operations.
- Ensures accurate, concise, timely information is available to management and policy officials.
- Represents the organization at meetings and conferences as directed by supervisor.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
- Successfully pass a Background Investigation, including financial disclosure.
- Must pass a drug screening.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered with the Selective Service.
- Political appointees may require OPM approval before onboarding.
- USCIS applies the Telework Enhancement Act of 2010 to its telework program.
This position IS NOT considered “essential” for purposes of reporting to work when the facility might otherwise be closed.

You qualify at the GS‑13 level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS‑12 level, and have performed the following duties:
- Working with multiple sophisticated management information systems.
- Providing reporting and analysis of statistical data relating to the organization’s operations.
- Providing technical assistance and direct support to staff in applying procurement‑related systems and management programs.
There is no educational substitution at this grade level.
