As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping financial strategy and supporting business performance across the organization. You’ll partner closely with leaders in Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to transform financial data into meaningful insights that guide planning, investment, and growth decisions. Your work will span budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial modeling—helping the business understand where it’s been, where it’s going, and how to get there more effectively.
Planning& Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes at both the departmental and company level
- Build and maintain financial models to project revenue, expenses, cash flow, and capital needs
- Manage cash flow forecasting to support liquidity and growth initiatives
- Continuously refine forecasts based on business trends and market conditions
- Partner with leaders to align financial plans with organizational goals
- Analyze actual results against budget, forecast, and benchmarks
- Perform variance and root-cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and operational efficiency
- Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for leadership
- Translate complex financial results into clear, compelling business insights
- Improve and automate reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling, scenario analysis, and investment evaluation
- Collaborate with Accounting to ensure alignment between financial statements and operational results
- Serve as a trusted financial partner to cross-functional teams
- Define, track, and refine KPIs that measure financial health and business performance
- Recommend enhancements to reporting and metrics to drive accountability and visibility
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and produce actionable insights
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling capabilities
- Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Adaptive Insights, or similar)
- Solid understanding of business operations and how financial outcomes connect to strategy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify financial concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Accuracy and reliability of budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Quality of variance analysis and insights that influence leadership decisions
- Improvements in reporting efficiency, automation, and forecasting accuracy
- Effectiveness as a business partner supporting cross-functional priorities
