Responsibilities include overseeing and participating in the shipping, receiving, storing and issuing inventory. Maintain receiving and inventory control records and prepare related reports; serve as a lead over one or more warehouse persons; train and provide work direction and guidance to warehouse staff.

* JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** Lead and participate in receiving, unloading and inspection of shipments for damage and conformity to purchase order specifications and packing slips; contact vendors regarding shortages, damaged goods or other discrepancies; complete receiving, discrepancy and follow-up reports.
* Oversee and participate in the stocking of products; plan storage locations; determine proper location of supplies to allow for maximum space utilization.
* Serve as a lead over an assigned warehouse function; train and provide lead work direction and guidance to assigned staff; prioritize work assignments for warehouse associates.
* Make recommendations regarding proper storage, inventory and warehousing procedures and improvements in warehouse efficiency.

* JOB REQUIREMENTS:

*** High school diploma or equivalent.
* Warehouse experience with leading teams, setting goals and conducting annual performance reviews.
* Understanding of the basic computer flow transactions – receiving, locator maintenance, shipping documents, etc.
* Ability to initiate and adapt to change, and work in a team environment.
* Maintain inventory and service levels to meet all customer requirements. Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment.
