Supervisor-Network Operator Controls (Finance)
Primary purpose: Responsible for leading the NOC's efficient and thorough monitoring of the saltwater disposal field locations to ensure that these locations are fully operational, maximizing capabilities/intake along with maintaining a professional and courteous attitude at all times.
Qualifications- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience/Specific Knowledge: Minimum of one (1) year with direct people management.
- Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications: Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Certifications, Licenses & Registrations: Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple individuals and projects on a daily basis.
- Good problem‑solving skills, including the ability to utilize multiple resources to arrive at a solution.
- Strong customer focus that includes demonstrated and consistent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly analyze changing conditions at the facilities and make appropriate adjustments within operating parameters.
- Ability to perform the required and expected duties with little or no direct supervision.
- Must be able to work with a team, take direction from management, adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules.
- Ability to successfully perform multiple tasks with strict deadlines.
- Ability to organize and prioritize daily work.
- Directly supervise Operators and systems.
- Hire, train and develop Operators.
- Collaborate with management team on various projects.
- Monitor and support field activities safety and efficiently.
- Manage Operator schedules and review employee timesheets. Cover Operator shifts when needed.
- Develop and maintain systems and processes for dispatching, monitoring, and controlling of the disposal systems.
- Respond to alerts/alarms according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Detect and respond to all infrastructure alerts and escalates to the appropriate parties as necessary.
- Train employees to have working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment.
- Monitor and report fluid levels of each tank, ensuring safe operations.
- Ensure NOC is in compliance with regulatory and environmental agencies.
- Coordinate with trucking companies on delivery of water.
- Enter truck load slips.
- Ensure continuous smooth transition of shift turnovers between Operators.
- Ensure ongoing improvement through evaluation of current processes.
- Proactively monitor water levels at the site to ensure tanks are within their operating parameters.
- Communicate operations problems which occur, such as downtime, and actions taken.
- Provide management with reports and details as needed.
- Write effectively and understand verbal and written communications, including but not limited to email.
- Deal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism.
- Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and listen carefully.
- Maintain a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance.
- Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.
- Other daily, weekly, monthly or special project duties as identified and defined.
- 24/7/365 operation; work schedule may change with little advance notice.
- Occasional but infrequent travel away from the assigned work location may be required.
- May be required to carry a cell phone and respond during working and non‑working hours.
- Successful candidate will be required to clear a drug screen and a background check, including credit report for certain positions, before employment.
