Audiologist

Seeking Licensed Audiologist Providers to Join our Provider Network to perform Disability Exams for Veterans and Separating Military Members.

• Au.D. or M.A. degree.
• State license to practice.
• Practice location to evaluate patients (within 100 miles of job posting location).
• Office must be wheelchair accessible and meet ADA, OSHA compliance.
• Must have a soundproof booth.
• Must be able to perform the following tests:
• Stenger(s)
• Tympanometry
• Puretone Hearing Test, Air
• Acoustic Reflexes at the following frequencies:
• Contralateral: 500, 1K, 2K, and 4K Hz
• Ipsilateral: 500, 1K, and 2K Hz

Monterey works with the Department of Veteran Affairs to contract with physicians to perform Compensation and Pension exams for our country's veterans who live in the area. Physicians will also provide pre-discharge head-to-toe physical exams for soldiers who live or are stationed in the area.

• These exams require no treatment or follow-up, and we reimburse you directly.
• We schedule soldiers/veterans with your office, based on your availability (preferably at least 1 day/week).
• These exams have been outsourced by the VA to individual providers across the country.

• See veterans/soldiers in your office.
• Flexibility to see as many or as few claimants as you want.
• We schedule on behalf of claimants with 5-7 business days' notice.
• Submit your examination findings electronically, and we reimburse you.
• No complicated claim submission or denials.
• You do not determine benefits, only submit your findings in a medical report.
