CT Tech – Key Details (Concise) Certs: BLS, ARRT (R)(CT) or ARRT (CT);
Radiation badge required (no clinical involvement) Department: 1 CT room Equipment:
Philips 128-slice (primary), Philips 16-slice (backup), Bracco injectors Cases:
Adult & pediatric CTs – stroke, STEMI, trauma, CTA, abdominal, head injury, kidney stones; high outpatient volume M–F 8–5 Coverage: X-ray after hours (2330–0700) unless CT volume is high Systems: PACS, CRTIS Radiologist:
Not in-house
Shifts:
7a–7p or 7p–7a (team scheduling) Weekends/Holidays:
Variable; holidays every other Orientation: 3 × 12-hour shifts Notes:
Fast-paced, strong teamwork; travelers often extend up to a year Radius Rule: 50 miles; no Common Spirit/CHI/Dignity employment in past 12 months RTO:
Must be submitted upfront; no additional RTO approved after submission
