CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

• Weekend schedule as needed with variable requirements

• Every other holiday coverage required

• First to float to other areas when needed

• Will cover x-ray after hours from 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM unless there is high volume of CT cases

• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (R)(CT) or ARRT (R) with CME requirements met for CT

• Radiation badge required

• No clinical involvement

• 3 shifts of 12-hour department-specific orientation provided

• Perform CT imaging for adults and pediatrics including strokes, STEMI, trauma, abdominal pain, head injury, kidney stones, and CTA

• Handle high volume of outpatient CT scans scheduled Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• Work with Philips 128 slice primary scanner, Philips 16 slice backup, and Bracco injectors

• Use MEDITECH charting system and PACS with Centralized Response Team Inquire System (CRTIS)

• Work in fast-paced department with excellent teamwork environment

• Team scheduling approach utilized

• One CT room department

• No staff radiologist on-site
