Summary/Objective:
Our team is growing and we are seeking an experienced Pipeline Operator with Pigging experience to join our team!
The role of the Assistant Manager is to work directly with the Sr. Manager and Pipeline Maintenance Technicians to maintain the pipeline infrastructure of our clients through Launching and Receiving pipeline pigs, maintenance of gearboxes and valves, pulling liquids from lines and trays, and following the schedules for work. The Assistant Manager is a hands-on position with daily field operational responsibility, schedule management, SAP data integration and notifications and personnel management.
The Assistant Manager must maintain good communication with contractors, coworkers, management, through phone calls, text messages, and emails, and thoroughly document all work items listed through the entire Pipeline Maintenance program. The position is also responsible for assisting with onboarding and training of new staff, benchmarking the operational efficiency of the division and working in collaboration with the Sr. Manager to develop additional guidelines to improve the already existing operational excellence of the division.
The position will also assist in the capture of equipment in need of repair, modification, or expansion of pipeline infrastructure assets to comply with industry standards, policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Essential Functions:
- Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, stand, climb and lift up to 75 lbs. for extended periods of time and perform numerous task that require physical agility and manual dexterity as well as mental acuity throughout shift.
- Must possess and maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license pursuant to company policies and procedures.
- Must be computer proficient to include Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation familiarity.
- Must be able to read and understand maps.
- Must be able to walk up to 5 miles per day.
- Advanced knowledge of pigging oil and gas lines and maintenance techniques.
- Advanced knowledge of parts, tools, and supplies used in pigging procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of pipeline installation and construction.
- Must be able to work unsupervised and have the ability to manage others and solve problems.
- Must have solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Must maintain a Company provided working cell phone for communication through work shift.
- Requires advanced knowledge of oilfield safety requirements, and applicable safety regulations, and pass a proficiency exam to demonstrate knowledge retention.
- Successfully complete selected/required Operator Qualifications (OQ's)

- Assists in the interview and selection process of new pigging techs.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new pigging techs.
- Demonstrate the ability to use Basic hand tools.
- Demonstrate the ability to work safely at productive rate.
- Demonstrate the ability to appropriately maintain compressor station cleanliness, general housekeeping, etc.
- Demonstrate the ability to work as a team, in construction related tasks.
- Demonstrate adherence to company Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
- Must be able to independently prioritize the scheduled work each day to maintain peak performance.
- Demonstrate proficiency in completing job related paperwork and computer work as outlined in company policy and procedure manual, in a timely manner.
- Conduct self in a professional manner always in the execution of duties.
- Maintains acceptable personal hygiene and professional appearance and is clean shaven daily.
- Required to attend all safety meetings unless approved otherwise by Sr. Manager.
- Must be able to work weekends when required.
- Report to work as scheduled.
- Must have own housing.
- Must have reliable transportation and maintain a clean driving record.
