Position Summary

Perform carpentry to hospital buildings, furnishings, equipment and fixtures as necessary.

Experience

* 5-10 years trade related experience.

Licensure/Qualifications

* Valid Connecticut drivers license

* High school education or equivalent vocational training

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements

* Maintains, repairs and constructs hospital buildings, structures and furniture built of a wide variety of materials to ensure good appearance and optimal functioning.

* Construct partitions, hang doors, install lock-sets, install drop ceilings, also sheet-rocking and taping.

* Read prints, plan lay out and construct according to hospital needs.
