UPMC Williamsport is hiring a Full-Time Clinician on 5E Acute Care/Trauma Stepdown

UPMC Williamsport is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse ready to take the next step in their nursing career. If you're interested in growing professionally, we have an exciting opportunity for you to serve as a Clinician on our 5E Acute Care/Trauma Stepdown.

This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, primarily on evening and night shifts, with every third weekend and no holiday requirements.

About UPMC Williamsport 5E Acute Care/Trauma Stepdown:

Our 23-bed medical-surgical and trauma stepdown unit cares for a wide variety of patients, specializing in acute care surgery and trauma. Medical-surgical patients include those with bowel obstructions, gallbladder issues, and appendectomies. Our team includes expert nurses trained in trauma care and a unique mobility program to help patients recover faster. The unit uses a care partner model, pairing a licensed staff member directly with a nurse for most of the shift.

As a Clinician, you will serve as a nurse leader and role model, responsible for fostering a culture of excellence and high-quality patient care. You will manage staff performance, including evaluations, hiring, and daily oversight, while providing clinical education, orientation, and consultation to team members. You may also provide direct nursing care as needed.
