Senior Sales Associate; Keyholder

Location

This role will be working out of both of our Williamsburg locations (Home & Gift — 99 Grand Street and Home & Woman, 319 Graham Avenue).

5 days a week, 40‑45 hours. Weekend availability required.

$22‑23/hr starting wage, plus employer‑subsidized health, vision & dental, two weeks paid time off, and a 30% employee discount.

Established in 2011, LEIF is an independent lifestyle boutique with a strong e‑commerce and brick‑and‑mortar presence. We’re a small, tight‑knit, all‑women team. Our specialty is creating a truly unique retail experience with an assortment of products that you’re unlikely to find at any other store. • All‑star sales associate, engaging customers with authenticity.
• Demonstrate friendly yet elevated sales and service through communication, product knowledge, body language & morale.
• Maintain welcoming brand: greet & thank every customer.
• Conduct sales transactions on POS, accurately ringing up items and packing with care.
• Receive new inventory and manage existing inventory.
• Provide customer service via in‑person interactions, phone, and email, offering expert product knowledge.
• Monitor e‑comm sales, carefully pack items and ship online orders.
• Shop upkeep, visual merchandising, organizing stock in back of house.
• Maintain storefront: cleaning, dusting, vacuuming.
• Work closely with owner & team to streamline business and grow sales.

• Minimum 2 years recent retail experience (past 5 years), preferably independent boutique.
• Exceptional communication skills (written & verbal) and attention to detail.
• Extremely reliable & high accountability.
• Outgoing, warm, vibrant, engaging personality with authentic ease.
• Independent self‑starter, initiative.
• Ability to multitask & perform under pressure.
• Organized, efficient, aesthetically inclined (gift wrapping, merchandising).
