GM and Food (General Merchandise, Closing, Fulfillment, Inbound, Food and Beverage, Food Service, Starbucks) (T2296) Overview

Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $15.50 USD per hour

Target is seeking candidates for General Merchandise and Food roles focused on store processes, guest service, inventory, replenishment, and related operations.

• Create a welcoming guest experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs while completing daily tasks.
• Assist guests in locating products, answering questions, and solving issues to support a guest-first culture.
• Perform daily tasks to support business priorities, including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing backroom, merchandising, and setting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Operate power equipment when certified and execute processes such as price changes, merchandise setup and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment (picking/packing orders, delivering pickup orders) while complying with applicable laws and policies.
• Maintain safety, ethical conduct, and a culture of compliance; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Other duties as assigned based on business needs.

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times.
• Basic ability to communicate and use technology (handheld scanners, etc.).
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks within set time frames.
• Ability to handle cash operations where required, climb ladders, and move merchandise safely (up to 44 pounds) and work in varying temperatures.
