Work Shift:

Third (Nights).

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing nursing care at a competent level according to the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching and health promotion, and evaluation) and professional standards of performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice / nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health). Primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, communicating with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of patients.

Emphasis on teamwork to ensure high-quality patient care.

• EXPERIENCE:
  
  At least 2 yrs of RECENT ICU RN hospital bedside experience REQUIRED
• EDUCATION:
  
  RN Degree: RN Diploma, ADN, BSN or MSN
• CERTIFICATIONS and/or LICENSURE: RN License valid to work in the State of Virginia
• Other requirements:
  All Direct Care RNs are required to have BLS within 90 days of hire

• Base pay range for Full Time: $30.38 - $55.38 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
