Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator – General Surgery/Operating Room
Position at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA.
OverviewThe RN Unit Coordinator will provide clinical leadership and drive safety, quality, workflow, and staff development for the operating room. The role focuses on delivering excellent patient care and fostering staff satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Leads safety and quality initiatives under department manager guidance.
- Simplifies workflow and contributes to staff development.
- Increases staff satisfaction and promotes excellent customer service.
- Provides clinical leadership for the assigned specialty area.
- 18+ months recent RN experience, preferably in charge nurse or other RN leadership.
- BSN or MSN required.
- RN license valid to practice in Virginia.
- Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire (if applicable).
- BLS within 90 days of hire.
- Days:
Monday – Friday, 8‑hour shift. - Nights: 12‑hour shift.
Base pay: $38.55 – $64.24 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
