The Plant Manager Laundry Operations is responsible for oversite of the laundry operations at an assigned facility. This position is responsible for all related functions, procedures, programs and policies in achieving standards and efficient operations of the Plant. Additional responsibilities include hiring, training, coaching and counseling respective Associates. This position will ensure Associates’ commitment to maintaining laundry expectations through observation, communication and recognition.
The Plant Manager serves as a role model, develops talent and provides staff support in handling complex situations. Other activities include managing outside contractors to perform certain repair or replacement projects.

- Take ownership for the successful operation of laundry working collaboratively with business partners to ensure KPIs and other performance goals are achieved.
- Monitor the key performance indicators of Quality, Timeliness and Budget and ensure laundry management team is working together to achieve targets. Hold team accountable for measurable results and develop action plans for team if key metrics aren’t being achieved.
- Ensure proper inventory of tools and chemicals is always maintained; ensure equipment is in good operating condition, rotating out in accordance with replacement schedules/plans.
- Provide routine updates to leadership meeting frequency and information expectations established.
- Act as a change leader and champion organizational changes to achieve short and long‑term goals and objectives.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure that the operations has an active recruiting strategy in place – effectively monitoring staffing levels at site and ensuring TA and the HR Business Partner are aligned with the strategy to ensure staffing levels are maintained.
