Carpet Cleaning Technician

Overview: Responsible for the overall operation of carpet maintenance throughout the resort.

Responsibilities:

• Carpet cleaning of guest rooms, cottages, and public event spaces throughout the resort

• Inspect carpet and upholstery for stains and other signs of wear

• Provide deep cleaning services

• Apply deodorizers

• Move or cover furniture as needed

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests

• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum of 50 pounds

• Ability to climb up and down stairs, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and reach for an eight-hour shift

• Ability to bend at waist and perform repetitive foot and hand action

• Familiarity with carpet cleaning and chemicals used

• At least 18 years of age

• High School diploma or GED

• Must possess a valid driver's license

• 1 year experience required

• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
