Spring Arbor Senior Living in Williamsburg VA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Assisted Living team. Individuals are responsible for performing general maintenance of assigned facilities utilizing several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, & roofing.

- Help residents with moving in and moving out. Hang pictures/TV ect.
- Complete room turnovers including drywall repair, painting, and carpet cleaning.
- Make sure community is always presentable, including touch-up painting, carpet cleaning, changing light bulbs.
- Make sure ground are free of trash and debris.
- Basic electrical and plumbing skills.
- Assist the Maintenance Director with work orders and tasks.
- Other duties and tasks may be assigned.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Superior customer service skills and orientation. Collaborative style and ability to maintain professionalism at all times under stressful situations required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints, without direct supervision.
- Sound troubleshooting skills and the capacity to fully resolve problems.
- Ability to read or learn how to read HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and architectural blueprints.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools and perform basic electric, plumbing and carpentry tasks.
