Responsibilities- Utilize evidence-based methods to provide individualized, client-centered treatment to children and their families
- Generate client documentation and communicate clinical information to all stakeholders
- Comply with insurance and government policies, laws, and procedures
- Collaborate with other service providers and community resources using a holistic and integrated approach
- Empower families through comprehensive training sessions and engagement during clinic sessions
- Supervise the implementation of treatment plans by technicians and provide training and feedback to ensure accuracy, consistency, and meaningful progress
- Promote collaboration, professionalism, mentorships, empowerment, and advocacy
- Support patients and their families with evidence-based therapy in both group and individual settings
- Perform regular wellness checks by phone to inquire about behavioral health status and medication adherence
- Prepare patient documentation and communicate pertinent clinical information to the patient, referring provider, and treatment team
- Evaluate client needs and create individual interventions while establishing person-centered goals for behavior modifications
- Develop treatment plans based on the patient s values, goals, and health using comments from the patient s treatment team and support system
- Active BCBA certification and Virginia license
- Completion of the 8-hour supervision training
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children with autism
- State license that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing for a clinical social worker (LCSW) or equivalent
- Additional certifications required: CPR, BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field
- 1-3 years in a clinical setting working with behavioral health patients is required
- Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills
