GeneralJob Duties for All Store Team Members
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associate paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills- Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
- Perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) accurately and quickly.
- Handle monetary change accurately.
- Use verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Coordinate motor skills between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate movements.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Exposure to varying weather conditions during outside tasks.
- Store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F+.
- Fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Talking and hearing on telephone.
- Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
- Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
- Standing most tasks performed from a standing position.
- Walking on ceramic tile, linoleum in food process areas.
- Walking, short distances, and durations.
- Sitting for paperwork at a desk or table.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds, bulk product deliveries; stacking onto shelves up to 72 " high.
- Carrying: large cans (≈3 lb, 7 oz) and occasional pizza sauce (≈30 lb). Trays of pizza dough (≈12 lb per tray) carried three at a time.
- Pushing/pulling trays on dollies (~7.5 lb force).
- Climbing ladders for maintenance.
- Stooping/bending for 30–45 sec at a time, repeated continuously; forward bending at pizza assembly station.
- Crouching/squatting to stock shelves and clean low areas.
- Reaching both above 72 " and below.
- Hand tasks: eye‑hand coordination, use of forearms/wrists for shaping dough, manipulating pizza peel and rolling cutter, pinching for box assembly.
Use of pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.
