Motorcoach Operator – Casual / On-Call

Join TRAXX Coach lines as a Casual / On-Call Motorcoach Operator and play a key role in providing safe and reliable transportation for passengers within Williams Lake and surrounding areas. We are looking for 4 casual/on-call drivers to support operational needs and deliver excellent service to our clients as required.
Preference will be given to candidates with flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Reporting to the Operations Manager
, you will be a key member of the company’s front-line team. This role requires excellent communication and customer service skills, previous experience in the motor coach industry, and a strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and customer care.

. You are a reliable, safety-oriented professional who enjoys flexible, on-call work and supporting operations as needed. You enjoy interacting with passengers—whether local or from around the world—and take pride in being an ambassador for both TRAXX Coach lines and the communities you serve. Your positive attitude and customer-focused approach help ensure a safe, professional, and enjoyable passenger experience.
- Safely transport passengers while adhering to all safety programs, policies, and procedures
- Assist with loading and unloading passenger luggage
- Address passenger inquiries and concerns in a polite and professional manner
- Keep passengers informed of trip progress and advise of any delays
- Complete pre- and post-trip inspections and reports, including vehicle and incident reporting
- Maintain the bus in a clean and presentable condition
- Maintain accurate trip logs
- Be available for on-call shifts as required
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as operationally required
- Valid Class 1 or Class 2 Commercial Driver’s License with air brake endorsement
- Proof of a clean Driver’s Abstract
- Knowledge of motor coach operations, safety standards, and applicable regulations
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
, preferably in motor coach operations - Minimum 1 year of motor coach experience
- Experience driving on logging roads and using radio communication
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Prior tour bus or charter driving experience is considered an asset

JOB TYPE: Casual / On-Call
SCHEDULE: Shifts available 7 days a week, based on operational needs
WORKING HOURS: Between 5:00 AM and 7:30 PM
, with breaks every 5 hours
