• Install, configure, and troubleshoot IP and commercial‑grade security cameras
• Run and terminate network cabling for surveillance systems
• Set up NVRs, remote access, and system analytics

• Install, label, and test Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A cabling
• Build and dress network racks and patch panels
• Ensure cabling meets industry standards and future‑ready design requirements

• Install, splice, and test fiber optic cables
• Use OTD/R and power meter tools to verify performance
• Maintain clean, organized fiber enclosures and pathways

• Install and configure Valcom paging systems, speakers, amplifiers, and controllers
• Set up sound masking systems to improve privacy and reduce noise distractions
• Troubleshoot audio distribution issues

• Communicate professionally with customers on‑site
• Provide clear explanations of system functionality
• Complete job documentation, testing results, and service reports
• Maintain Fiber Tel’s commitment to on‑time, high‑quality work

• Experience in low‑voltage, security, or telecommunications preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and floor plans
• Familiarity with IP networking fundamentals
• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in commercial environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
