Assistant Store Manager
Location: Wilkes Barre, PA – 277 Mundy St (Retail/Administration)
Job DescriptionTake the lead at the center of where it all happens – our retail stores. With your retail knowledge and leadership abilities, you’ll help oversee store operations, manage and develop a team, and ensure AT&T customers experience our best‑in‑class services, entertainment and technology. You’ll partner with a store manager to oversee all aspects of daily store operation, from merchandising and product launches to meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
Responsibilities- Partner with the store manager to oversee daily store operations.
- Assist with merchandising and product launches.
- Help meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Provide an extraordinary customer experience with AT&T products and services.
- Coach and motivate a team of retail sales consultants to achieve sales and service goals.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- At least three years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
- Prior management experience.
- Well‑developed planning, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
- Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
- Strategic perspective and ability to champion change.
- Inspire the team through high performance, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Utilize professional expertise to solve problems and analyze issues.
- Take initiative and strive to create results.
Base salary range: $42,800 – $64,200
. Eligible for up to $18,000+ in commissions yearly if all sales goals are met.
