Registered Nurse (RN) - Part Time | Wilkes-Barre Specialty

As a part‑time RN on our Wilkes‑Barre Specialty team, you will use the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care, support interdisciplinary coordination, facilitate discharge planning, educate families, and access community resources.

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver direct patient care.
• Direct and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Teach patients and families post‑hospitalization.
• Access community resources to support patient recovery.
• May perform additional duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse duties (ACLS certification required).

• RN license in the state of application.
• Current BLS certification.
• Preferred:
  Current ACLS certification (required after 90 days).
• One year of inpatient medical‑surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Preferred:
  Experience in emergency or critical care settings.
• Preferred:
  Comfort with vents, trachs, PICC lines, etc.
• Preferred:
  Two years of direct patient care experience.
