LPN, Center Skilled Nursing; Call-In, All Shifts

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) administers medically prescribed treatments, coordinates nursing care, and monitors the performance of acceptable nursing standards on their assigned unit.

The LPN must demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of residents served, from adult to geriatric, and participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care according to departmental policies and procedures.

Supervised as a Team Leader, with Nurse Aides reporting to this position.

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a geriatric setting preferred.
• Current LPN license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners or eligible.
• CPR certification (must be maintained).
• Clearances: PA State Police criminal history, PA Department of Aging FBI fingerprint clearance (if applicable).

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Strong management skills.

Heavy physical effort required; ability to transport throughout the facility; exposure to blood, body substances, and needle sticks possible.

Work in resident living areas.
